Description

The Sims 3 for PlayStation 3 is a single player life simulation game that brings authentic gameplay elements, long enjoyed in PC versions of the game, to PlayStation 3 players. From character creation and customization tools, to persistent online access and the ability to share content with the larger The Sims community, The Sims 3 allows players to craft the lives of their Sims, like never before. A True The Sims Experience for PlayStation 3

In The Sims 3 players create Sims with unique personalities, fulfill their desires, and control their lives within a living gameworld. To a large extent this has been the case in previous console based The Sims games, but things are taken several steps further in this release. The Sims 3 features Sim creation functionality that is essentially the same as players enjoy on the PC platform, with the only appreciable difference being that the interface is optimized for game controller use. Players also enjoy improved and easy movement throughout the game by way of the standard controller layout, using the analog stick to move your Sims and the D-Pad for motions in the up/down directions in 3D space. Additional features include the ability to connect to the Sims Store and the greater online Sims community to share your creations and download content from other players around the world, without leaving your game, and the inclusion of life cycles and lifetime wishes, that can lead to ultimate happiness for Sims, if fulfilled.

New Karma Powers

Another major addition to the series in this release is the inclusion of the concept of Karma. The Sims 3 allows players can unlock all-new Karma Powers and unleash them on your Sims. These can be used to help your Sims get lucky with the power of "rapid romance", bless them with "instant beauty" or at the opposite end of things, curse them with the "instant enemy." Use these powers wisely, because they may have unexpected results. Either way, as you guide your Sims through life The Sims 3 allows you to complete opportunities to unlock items and rewards like never before.

Great game!

This version is really fun and the game runs smoothly. The controls are a little frustrating at first if you are switching between build, but and live modes but overall it is fairly easy.

Sims 3 for PS3

I love this game because it looks so much better than the old ones, you get to do a lot more as in picking out a car and talking on your cell phone, you can go into different stores in the town, you can even take classes. It is just an overall fun and great game.
And if you want to the cheats then you can save a separate area for one with cheats and one without cheats it is pretty awesome.
Haven't had any issues with my game at all so there really is nothing bad to say about it except that you do get addicted to the game :) hehe

The Sims 3 Hmmm.....

okay i am a sims fan.. but this game could have been made better.. so i played it for a while it took me like 15 minutes to get the hang of controls but after you get the hang of it its not so bad.. i just wish you could control your person rather than controling just the camrea.. thats just the bad part of it.. the good parts.. you can make a baby, you can play as the child when he/she is older, you can buy a car but i still havent figured out how to use it.. i mean if you have a car why not just use it to go to work instead of the car that comes to bring you to work.. just a thought.. you can go to the park, you can go shopping, hell you can even go on a date!!.. this game is great for those who are fimilar with the sims, or for any sim collector..

Not What I Expected

i thought they were going to have it where you can move the person around like you could in the other one but i guess not. Its more realistic then i thought it was going to be. So its a overall ok game.

BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

whats the point if you cant play with other people online!!!! after awhile it gets boring, if you want a successful game on a console you have to have multiplayer like GTAV

Pleased

I bought this game for me and my boyfriend and he is absolutely in love with it. Compared to the older versions of sims this one has a lot to choose from and it is a lot of fun! The graphics are also way clearer.

Great game

I was use to playing the sims on the computer and i never thought about playing the sims on playstation 3 but when i did i loved it! The game was sooo much better. I would recommend ths game to everyone that loves to play the sims.

Glitchy!

I was excited to get this new SIMS game for my ps3, however within an hour of play glitches showed up. One of which my characters were outside and would no longer enter their own house. The way I solved this was by moving them out of their home into another. I looked online and found that the gltches I was experiencing were only too common. There were other glitches where the screen will freeze. Also though my sim would change the channel on the tv, the picture on the tv wouldn't always change as it's suppose to.

The other problem was compared to all my other console SIM games, this one was rather boring. There a very few interesting characters to interact with. However I love the SIMS so I'm hoping they make another one that is more interesting (like the 1st sim games) and without all the annoying glitches.

the sims3 ps3

first of all E A should of made the game more enjoyable by allowin the Sims to drive there car around the town and also letting the sims go in to the bakery and shopping and movies and jobs and lettin us go inside and stuff like that its ignoring that only 2 neighbors lives close to me and also not putting in a 2 way player to invite friends to join in the game the graphics look fake and low quality i mean i taught it was going to be as good as the trailer but come on like gta u cud drive your own car and you cant take the family to beaches and f im payin 60$ for a game i think it shouldnt be worth it urgh i think this is a bunch of crap E A needs to upgrade this game more by allowing you to drive anywhere freely like GTA Iv and i think the sims would be much more better and come on they should have the Sims nude and have to click the map to travel is ignoring this is like for a 3 year old to play not a teen uh the hold game is all messed up and stink they need to upgrade and the exchange omg it takes forever to download and come on do u think they should allow you to bathe the baby instead of just changing the pampers this games stuck completely its not what i imagined.
