WHAT USERS WANT? (who have this item)

Description

Pokemon Ranger is a different kind of Pokemon gaming. You're still capturing and training Pokemon, but not for competition. Instead, you're working to protect them as a Pokemon Ranger! Use the new Capture STylus to catch Pokemon, then help them survive in the wild.

Well worth it for like $10

I got this game as a gift and I'm about half way done with it.
I'm 20, a girl, and have played all the older rpg pokemon games.

I liked it a lot because what you have to do in the game is so clearly laid out for you that it's impossible to fail. The game is easy and something to do if you are bored but don't wanna stress yourself out with a challenge. However, since I grew up playing the REAL pokemon games, I was a little upset that you don't get to keep your pokemon in this game and travel with them. Also, you might look like a COMPLETE loser playing this game in public - in order to catch any pokemon in the game you have to draw big circles with the stylus, on the touch screen, very fast and you DO look silly doing it hahaha :-)

I will probably resell this game soon though, it is easy to lose interest in the game since you are only completing missions in it and not working to build up to a massive final battle like in all the "color" pokemon games (red, blue, green etc)

This would be good for younger children, females, and people who do not want too much of a challenge. Just being honest.

this game sucks

this is one of the worst video games ive ever played and i love pokemon games this game is retarded

My son loves Pokemon

As much as my son loves Pokemon, he does not play this game as much as I had anticipated. He has made no comments nor asked me to see what he is doing in the game. He just seems to be more interested in other games for his DS.

I broke my DS with this game!

I rented this game from Blockbuster, and it seemed like a good game, until I started capturing Pokemon. You have to spin the stylus to capture the Pokemon, and that spinning motion broke my DS touchscreen. It wouldn't detect the touches right after that game, and calibrating wouldn't do anything. I ended up sending it back to Nintendo to get the touchscreen replaced. If you don't want to have a broken DS, don't buy this game.

Pokemon Ranger Review

I would have given it 5 stars but it was too hard and it's still hard even after I finished it. I would recommend it for ages 6 and up and they probably should know how to read in fact you should know how to read to play any pokemon game and I know because I have a little brother and he can't read and is always asking for help, it's very annoying!!!
