The last time I had played Lost Kingdoms was years ago. After my younger sister had started replaying, I got excited about playing with her so I went out to purchase my own copy. Though my review may be biased my sentimental value, here is what I thought.

The plot, while a tad cliche, worked well with the card game format (for those who don't know, you are a princess whose kingdom is over run by a dark and mysterious fog which you must solve the mystery of using your cards to battle other monsters). The graphics and character movement are a bit behind times (she runs sooooo slowly), but that is to be expected from an older game. The missions are generally straight-forward, though there are plenty of online walkthroughs if you need to look up what cards you are missing. The music was, as always, pleasant and great for setting the mood. It will take a few hours of game play to run through all the levels or to get all the cards so you can spend a few hours accomplishing tasks that you decide for yourself.

Remember to take risks while learning to use your cards. As you get used to the different types battling will become much easier. I only got stuck on the last boss, but I realized that I needed to be more aggressive! So go out there and save your kingdom!

This game is an adventure game like no other. In the game your a woman that has a deck full of cards (not like yugioh). You go around levels with your monster cards and summon them to fight when enemies come and attack you, you can also summon them for the heck of it. In the game you can also buy cards and upgrade cards and evolve cards. The game is not to hard and its quit long, so thats a good thing. I'm a hardcore video game type guy but this one I love. Defenatly check this game out, you wont be dissapointed.
