Gameplay
Hasbro Family Game Night 2 allows up to four players to enjoy family-friendly board game action on Wii in two different ways. The first is directly through the five classic games included. These include: Operation, Jenga, Bop-It, Connect 4x4 and Pictureka. Just get your players together, pick a game and let the fun begin. Within each of the five games is an option for classic gameplay, just as you remember it, and all-new "remix" versions special to Family Game Night 2.

Players can also incorporate play of these games into a grander gaming experience with Family Game Show Mode. In this mode players import their favorite Miis from their Wii into a game show hosted by Mr. Potato Head. Movement of individual Miis around the game board is linked to success in shortened play sessions of the five games. Players take turns spinning an in-game wheel, which chooses each game session, with the first player to make their way around the board winning. The game also features a mini-game option allowing a single player to unlock additional body and face pieces to customize Mr. Potato Head as they like.

Very hard to use the remote for these games

Granted, I only played this game twice, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to play Jenga. And when I played operation, I couldn't get any of the pieces out. Forget about my 4 and 6 year olds trying it. They usually like watching me play, but I couldn't figure out how to do any of the games! The instructions, like most of the Wii games, barely gives you any information. I was hoping this would be a lot of fun, but so far, we haven't been able to play this too much. I'll try connect 4. That might be easier.

Great Family Gathering Game

This is a fun game to get your family together. We dont get the bop it game at all but we enjoyed Jenga, Operation, connect 4 and even Pictuereka was fun! I only give it a 4 because they really dont explain how bob it works....

Not nearly as fun as we had hoped

Bought this to pass the time while we were snowed in during an expected snowstorm. We bought this because we wanted family-friendly games so that our four year old could play. Unfortunately, the games are frustratingly difficult to control, even for an adult - forget about it for the toddler set. This might be ok for older kids, but even so, the selection of games is pretty limited. These games just don't translate over to the Wii. I would avoid this title unless you could get it for maybe ten dollars or so.

I bought both the Family Game Night 1 and 2 and both are good games to do byself or as group events, and wonderful 4 all ages

Both Hasbro Family Game Nights 1 & 2 are excellent family games. Great games for all ages, great to play by yourself and great to play as a group. I have to say the favorite in my house on the Family Game Night 2 is Pictureeka!

A little difficult

I bought this game for the family to be able to sit down and play together (big fan of multi player games), but I found this game a little difficult for my young son to play. He couldn't get the fine motor control that's necessary for it, but when he gets older it looks like it might be some fun. The games rely on very fine motor control to pick out specific small pictures or to hit the right row in Connect 4.

I think that this will be more fun as he gets older, but I bought without looking at reviews first.
