Description

Call of Duty: Black Ops is a first-person shooter with stealth and tactical play aspect that puts players in the role of a shadow soldier fighting in a variety of historically representative fictional Black Ops missions of the Cold War era. Created with the input of actual Black Ops soldiers from the time, the game mixes traditional Call of Duty tactical shooter gameplay with new gameplay options designed to expand the players' experience. Additional features include extensive multiplayer options, along with new vehicles and explosive new weapons.

Inspired by the experiences of real Black Ops soldiers of the era, the missions of Call of Duty: Black Ops take the player to a wide variety of settings, ranging from snowbound mountain strongholds in historical Soviet held territories, to the jungles and urban settings of Vietnam War era SE Asia. Throughout all, care has been taken to maintain the traditional essence of Call of Duty style combat, while also introducing new types of player action that add to the gameplay experience. Additional features include co-op, versus and team-based multiplayer options, new vehicles like the SR-71 Blackbird and lethal new weapons such as explosive-tipped crossbows.

call of duty

lets talk about the campaign it jumps all over and you get a headache just trying to remember what character you are playing
the multi player's in game audio doesn't work sometimes so if you have a headset that you use and expect to hear the people that are sneaking up behind you THINK AGAIN i use a headset and i couldn't hear any foot steps at all

Black ops game.....Received a messed up disc

This game is awesome, according to my kids, but there is a level in the game where it freezes up and shuts the game down. Pretty disappointing.

Waiste of my money

Game play functions well, but there is quite a few really bad issues with black ops, hit markers galore so playing in Hard Core mode is really the only way to play and last but not least is the spawn points are camp-able to define this that means the moment you spawn after dying some jackass will be sitting there waiting for you and shoot you before you have a chance to move.... nuff said

ok black ops is simply a great game minus the really short campaign but it makes up for that in nazi zombies and multiplayer.

Excellent game

Black ops is a very solid game. The graphics and the first person shooter gameplay are phenomenal! This is my first call of duty game I've ever played and I know it won't be the last. Highly recommended game indeed.

Just Wait for MW3

This game, to me, isn't worth the current pricetag. The campaign is the only thing going for it, and it's incredibly fun, but it only takes a few hours to beat it. So what do you do after that, Spec Ops? Nope, not in this game. Multiplayer? Yeah, but gets old fast. I just don't think it's worth it. If you haven't bought it yet, just save your money and wait for MW3.

Its Not Bad..

I preordered this game and I enjoyed it at first but I dont really feel like its for me so im going back to MW2 and waiting for MW3.
