Description

Ever want to go fishing with the pros? Al Linder, a National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Famer and host of The Nashville Network show In-Fisherman Television, also plays host to Action Bass, a game that promises to be as exciting for seasoned anglers as it is helpful for tenderfoots. He'll take you along some geographically accurate North American waterways in search of several types of bass. You'll hunt the realistically programmed fish with the help of top-of-the-line tackle, reels, lures, baits, and, of course, Linder's tips and tricks via the in-game help system. You can even perfect your casting and setting with the Lure Cam that shows you the fish and underwater terrain in 3-D.

Very good Christmas gift!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gave this game to my teenage cousin and he loved it. So all I can write is what he said: Totally awesome!!!!! Its phat!!!

This Game is a waste of $

It was a waste of time, after you hook the fish they dont try to escape, they sit there so you can reel them in. You will quickly get bored with this game.

This game is a waste of time ad money

...You cant ride around in a boat and hunt for the fish. And when you do fish, the fish dont fight! it just sits there and lets you pull it in! How bad is that? It is a horrible game.I have learned something, dont trust reveiws. " Al Linder from TNN IN-FISHERMAN as the announcer." Bah Humbug, it is just some old teenager that sounds like he needs help....

Don't waste your time

I have yet to find a fishing game for Playstation that delivers, and this game was no different. Overall, there are several flaws with this game. The major one being that you only use one button the entire game. Push THE button to cast (you cannot vary the length of a cast), push THE button to reel in the lure, push and hold THE button to land the fish. There is the option of choosing a free fishing mode or tournament style. The tournament is the absolute worst part of the game. Each round lasts 3 lousy minutes....and you cannot increase the time. The only thing that Take2 has done an even remotely good job of is the graphics of the fish...but the novelty of that wares off mighty quickly.

Fun

This is a fun game. It isn't one of those things where you go out and have to learn the weather and water conditions and the proper lures for whatever fish. That's what makes it great - you just go out and catch fish. It is great ... . On the minus side the loading time is pretty long and the graphics aren't really the best.
