In 300: March to Glory you'll live the adventure of the hit film "300." Players take on the role of King Leonidas, who led 300 Spartans against Xerxes and the Persian army. As you control him, Leonidas will uses their sword, spear and shield in individual combat. He'll also use the power of the soldiers in a battle to determine the very fate of western civilization. 300: March to Glory will be a visceral experience focused on action and combat, allowing the player to fight both solo and in a phalanx alongside his fellow Spartans.

Spartans, Attack!

300: March to Glory is my second "M" game for the PSP and I have to say that it is better than the first (the first being Silent Hill). The only reason I say that 300: March to Glory is better is that Silent Hill was too scary for me, and I had to sell it, so this is now my only "M" game. Anyway, I don't know why 1/4 of the reviews are 2 stars. This game deserves 5 stars! The graphics are amazing for a PSP game (blood, gore, Persians, Spartans, levels, weapons etc.) the sound is great such as the voice acting and dying Persians! The combos are really good too. The story and settings is also very good. It's the medevil times, where you use swords, shields, spears etc to fight the Persians. There's always a helper(1-2)other Spartans helping you! Also, sometimes you form a line of Spartans and eliminate enemies until you reach the war elephant and then you try to bring it down. There are strong enemies and weak enemies, but there are ALOT of them! I would recommend this for any hack n' slash fan, medevil fans, or PSP owners. You will love this game!

Was Worth It

When I first put this game in I wasn't overly impressed. After playing God of War, this game felt like a step back. While very little can match God of War, this game did end up being lots of fun to play. The game mostly takes place on the travels to the battle as portrayed in the movie. You could make another movie just on all the action the 300 see along the way. The actual battle is portrayed as well as the battle at Plateau which you catch a glimpse of at the end of the movie. This is basically a hack and slash game with little in the way of RPG. It is fun to level up and gain new skills and weapons. There is lots of gore and a fair amount of different enemies coming your way. The hard part is figuring out what can beat the end bosses. Some of them were quite hard and took me many deaths to finally beat them. The graphics are good, though not great. The cuts scenes with Miller's art is nice, as is the voice acting. The camera is sometimes a little wonky, but it is not bad. I enjoyed this game and I might even play it through again, since it lets you keep all your level ups.
